EA will announce that it’s once again reviving the Ultima series in some capacity. This will fail spectacularly and be quietly cancelled in about eight months. The new Activision/Blizzard will realize it’s sitting on a potential retro-goldmine with its unused Sierra and Infocom properties like King’s Quest and announce a new family-friendly line of games using them. Blizzard itself will announce a brand-new game using a new IP. Some spectacular bit of news regarding Duke Nukem Forever will be proven totally false.”
